i am talking with a rasp as if i got a sore throat there is soreness around the top of my neck yet no bruising as yet am slightly worried there mayybe internal injury that i cannot see is this possible if so what could b the injurys?

number one if someone choked you like that i hope you did something about it--if you wold have passed out you could have a brain injury depending on how long you were out--you could have a crushed larynx or esophageal problems--cracked windpipe---its just a number of things that could be wrong but probably aren't--i would wait a couple days and see if all the symptoms go away--if not see a Dr.--and stay the hell away from whoever or however that happened---its dangerous--hope this helped and good luck!
Wow! Sorry to hear that...anyway, some soreness and bruising is probably to be expected unfortunately. Just be aware of any shortness of breath or weezing, that might be signs of a more severe injury. Other than that, there aren't a lot of major organs that would be damaged in that area, short of crushing your windpipe or something, which you would definitely feel.
Go see a doctor if you really arent sure.
Are you sure you're ok? I had this happen too and I didnt get it checked out, and luckily in my case everything went back to normal. You should really see a doc, as even if not internal injuries, you may be affected mentally from such an attack. All the best.

yes, there could be injurys - even brain damage because of lack of oxygen. you should go to the hospital right away just to get checked. I am sure nothing is wrong but it is best to make sure now so if there is a problem you can fix it. While you are at the hospital/doctors office i would suggest mentioning who strangled you. If for some reason you are not comfortable with this then make up a story or tell them you do not want to say.
Please do not keep the fact of this assault secret. There is nothing to be gained by your silence. Your neck is very fragile. You have damage. See a doctor and explain exactly what happened.
