If you have shoulder subluxations, how long does that take to heal?

Ive been doing physical therapy for 5 weeks now. Ive been DHing for softball, becasue i cant throw, b/c that is what causes my shoulder to sublux. How many weeks of PT should i do before throwing again? I know everyone is different, so i mean in general.
Answer:
Its minimum of 6 wks in order to strengthen your muscles to help prevent future subluxations. It is very important to note that you MUST continue with the strengthening exercises indefinitely to help prevent future injury. The strength you gain in PT will not stay if you stop doing the exercises. Also there is a chance that PT may not be the solution and you may need surgery if your shoulder is too loose.
