I remember watching a family guy episode where stewey gets a big piece of glass stuck on his head. It was very funny but it got me thinking, "what do you do?" Do you pull it out immediately, wait for someone else, or wait until you get to the hospital?

Never pull anything out of yourself that you become impaled with. For example, if you get stabbed, you should leave the knife where it is. You can cause more damage pulling it out yourself. The hospital will remove it.

I would leave it in because it could of gone through a vein and it is acting as a dam if you will. If you pull it out you may bleed to death.
No. dont pull it out straight away! wait untill you get to a hospital first as if u pulled it out straight away it could lead to serious bleeding.
You aren't supposed to pull anything out, because it works like a plug, so to speak, and slows the bleeding. On the other hand, who's first reaction isn't to yank anything they've been stuck with out?
